Daphne Schmon with an entirely female crew (featured on The Guilty Feminist Podcast), which premiered at Cannes Film Festival. ‘ALL OF ME’ was selected as one of the “BEST OF CANNES” shorts to screen with the Creative Market Group. ‘ALL OF ME’ won a PRESTIGIOUS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE from the IndieFEST Awards 2017, having it’s London Premiere as OFFICIAL SELECTION for S.O.U.L Celebrate:Connect film festival 2017 at BFI London and was OFFICIAL SELECTION at San Fransisco Black Film Festival, Palm Springs Short Fest and Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Jemma is currently both producing and starring in comedy short film ‘STALLING IT’ (writer/director Caroline Ward). Caroline and Jemma received 50% of their funding from Stefan Allesch-Taylor CBE and Charles Kay at Triforce festivals ‘Pitch it Live’ event at BAFTA and 50% they raised on INDIEGOGO. They have just set up their production company IT GIRLS PRODUCTIONS Ltd and hosted their first speed networking event on 9th June 2019. IT GIRLS PRODUCTIONS Ltd values a film culture that is sincere and honest when delivering diversity and equitable practices.
